ACTA SCIO is glad to announce that we obtained grant funding for the first 4 issues of a quarterly magazine to cover Scottish Space affairs.The Magazine  called "Space and Scotland" was launched in December 2016.


You can see an electronic version of the 1st issue of Space and Scotland magazine of Scotland's only published and online guide to the space industry, astronomical societies and science fiction:

This page is devoted to the Space and Scotland magazine (based in Troon, South Ayrshire) which has been set up to find out what is going on in Scotland with Space research, Space technology, Space tourism, Space education, and other aspects of the subject including Astronomy and Earth Sciences, to inform one another and disseminate the information, to highlight future possibilities for the benefit of the public and policy makers;  and to provide a forum for networking between Commercial and Education facilities.  


We are looking for further funding for Space and Scotland magazine so that we may continue beyond issue 4.  If you could offer that funding please contact ACTA SCIO at:

There were readings by Scottish SF authors Duncan Lunan (Commissioning Editor, Space and Scotland), Ian Skewis and Andrew Wilson

Music was by Alastair Milton, Duncan Lunan, The Sundancer and Noel Chidwick.
